Bridge21 (www.bridge.ie) is a research group located in Trinity College Dublin. Based on a model of collaboration, innovation, critical thinking, and technology, Bridge21 promotes and implements 21st century teaching and learning in the classroom.
For the second year in a row all 6th classes from the Donabate and Portrane peninsula are invited to partake in a introductory Bridge21 workshop on Tuesday 4th and Thursday 6th April, in Donabate Community College. Over the last three years DCC teachers and students have been taking part in numerous Bridge21 workshops in order to develop and support 21st century teaching and learning practices in the school.
Mr. Crowe’s and Mr. Crawford’s class will attend Bridge 21 in Donabate Community College on Thursday 6th April during the school day.
As part of these 6th class workshops, 24 fourth year DCC students on the Transition Year programme will be mentoring and supporting the 6th class pupils, check https://www.onestopplumbers.com. These TY students have all participated in previous workshops based in the Bridge21 learning spaces.
