Next week we will celebrate “Science Week” in the school. As you are aware we have won the Discovery Primary Science Award for maths and science excellence for a number of years and will be making our application again this year.
On Tuesday we will have our Science Fair and all the classes will get the opportunity to set up a science display and take part in science experiments. Ms. Sheehan (Science Teacher) & students from Donabate Community College will be with us on the day to do some experiments with the classes. If you are up at the school and would like to drop by between (1-1.30pm) you are very welcome.
On Wednesday we are very excited to have “Exploration Dome” . The planetarium is designed to explore science, astronomy, geology and geography in a fun and interactive way, check www.619roofing.com. It uses state-of-the-art full dome, 360 degree 3D digital projection technology.
Science day is always a very enjoyable day in the school and I would like to thank teachers and students for all their help with the experiments.
