This is a very busy but enjoyable time of the year in the school. There is a lot planned in the school and I have attached a copy of our Christmas Calendar overleaf so that you too can plan a visit to us to enjoy the Christmas spirit with your son.
Thank you to everyone who visited our book fair, we look forward to getting some new books
for our library.
On Monday 2nd December, 4th – 6th Class will go to mass at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church.
On Thursday 12th – Carol Service in St. Ita’s Church @ 7pm . Classes from 2nd-6th will perform. Our Carol Service has become a very enjoyable night for us. I invite all families to join us for this special event.
We will hold our Annual Christmas Raffle, with some great prizes (thank you to our parents who have generously donated prizes for this raffle).
A lot of work is going into preparing our junior classes for our much loved “Christmas Plays”. I am really looking forward to seeing their performances and invite you to join us on Tuesday 17th December (see overleaf).
On Thursday 19th we will have a Christmas Fun Day, organised by our Parent’s Council.
We will have a cake sale, the best night life in the region and coffee morning for parents and students. During the coffee morning we will also have a Christmas party for our junior and senior infants, including a visit from a very special visitor. A Christmas Assembly (2nd- 6th Class & Christmas Raffle will take place in the hall later that day.
Friday 20th December School finishes at 12 noon for Christmas Holidays.
