The goal of our Council is to give the pupils a voice. They have been responsible for ideas such as Buddy Benches on our yards, a Multicultural Day to help everyone feel included and most recently the Council decided to start a school newsletter, written by the pupils for our school community. It is published online every month and linked on our website. The role of our School Council is integral to the running of our school. It is their contribution and ideas that make our school the happy, inclusive community it is. We are so proud of their hard work and initiative.

Every class in our school has two elected representatives to the School Council. Elections are held early in the year and interested candidates are encouraged to campaign for their place on the council, making posters and addressing their class with speeches.
