We had two fantastic Sports Days this year! Our Junior Sports Day took place on Thursday 15th June. The sun was shining and the boys had so much fun trying out lots of different sports. Our junior classes got stuck into athletics, basketball, unihoc, parachute games, the obstacle course, penalty shoot-outs, and much more! The ice-cream truck even paid us a visit and everyone in the school got a treat (even the teachers)!
Our Senior Sports Day took place on Friday 16th June. The boys were raring to go and had great fun playing tag rugby, athletics, GAA, soccer, the obstacle course, dodgeball and playground games. At the end of the day we held our special ‘Sports Man of the Year’ assembly where our sportsmen from each class were awarded. These boys have worked hard all year showing the qualities of a good sportsman; teamwork, always supporting others and never giving up! Well done boys!
A massive thank you to Ms Carr, Dara and the team from LSA Donabate for bringing their equipment and coaching the boys in athletics. The high jump is always a favourite!
